Georgia Football Injury Report: Lawson Luckie listed as 'probable' for Texas

When Georgia takes on Texas on Saturday, it will, again, be without five players. Two more Bulldogs are probably according to the SEC’s first student-athlete availability report of the week.
Junior tight end Lawson Luckie (concussion) is one of those players listed as probable. He’s joined by redshirt sophomore defensive lineman Joshua Horton (undisclosed). Fourth-year junior center Drew Bobo (hand) is not listed on the report at all. Texas doesn’t have any players listed on its availability report after its second bye week of the season.
Luckie was injured late in the second quarter of Georgia’s win over Mississippi State. He was hit by two defenders while trying to secure a pass over the middle. He was attended to on the field by medical personnel and eventually walked off, slowly, on his own.
Georgia has ruled senior wideout Colbie Young, freshman wideout Talyn Taylor, redshirt sophomore defensive back Kyron Jones, redshirt sophomore defensive lineman Jordan Hall, and freshman tight end Ethan Barbour out for the Texas game.
Young, who is done for the season, will miss his third straight game. He saw just three plays in Georgia’s 43-35 win over Mississippi State a few weeks ago, the last time the Bulldogs were at home. He suffered a broken bone in his lower leg after coming into that contest as the team’s leading receiver.

Taylor hasn’t played since the Alabama game in week five. He suffered a collarbone injury that required surgery. He is expected back for the post season and maybe the tail end of the regular season. Jones was hurt in practice leading up to the Ole Miss game and hasn’t been able to return. Georgia’s initial statement on Jones said that he would be out “indefinitely” with a foot injury.
Hall’s 2025 season is also done after sustaining a knee injury in Georgia’s win over Florida. That injury took place just a few plays into that game. Barbour is another Bulldog who has played his last game this season. He suffered a dislocated ankle in week two vs. Austin Peay.
Saturday’s game is set for a 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff. It’ll be televised by ABC. Georgia is currently the six-point favorite.
