Game time, television announced for Georgia vs. Mississippi State

Georgia will host Mississippi State in a battle of the Bulldogs on October 12 and we now know when that. game will start and where it can be watched. Kickoff is set for 4:15 p.m. ET and it will be broadcast by The SEC Network.
These two teams don’t meet often but they’re on track to play three times in four seasons. Georgia last met Mississippi State in 2022 at Davis Wade Stadium in Starkville, Miss. UGA dominated that football game, winning 45-19 on its way to a 15-0 season and a second straight National Championship. The two teams will meet in Starkville against next season.
The 2020 season also saw a Bulldogs vs. Bulldogs clash. It was MSU’s last trip to the Classic City, a game Georgia won 31-24. JT Daniels made his UGA debut that night and threw for over 400 yards and four touchdowns. That game started a regular-season win streak for Georgia that ended on Saturday with a 41-34 loss to Alabama.
The two teams have squared off one more time in the Kirby Smart era and that one was in 2017 inside Sanford Stadium. Smart’s Bulldogs were ranked No. 2 and Mississippi State at No. 19 but it was a bloodbath for the visiting team. Georgia jumped all over MSU and won 31-3.
