Georgia Freshman Report: Which first year players saw the field vs. Vanderbilt

ATHENS, Ga. — Georgia took it to Kentucky on Saturday night at Sanford Stadium, and the door was opened for several Bulldogs to see their first SEC action. After only five freshmen saw the field in any capacity at Auburn last week, a total of 15 played in the win over the Wildcats. DawgsHQ breaks down their action below.
# 4 DB AJ Harris – Harris played on Georgia’s special teams units but did not record a stat.
# 5 LB Raylen Wilson – Wilson played on Georgia’s special teams unit but did not record a stat.
# 7 TE Lawson Luckie – Luckie saw an uptick in playing time after the injury to Brock Bowers. While Oscar Delp moved into the top tight end spot, Georgia still used 12 personnel with Luckie acting as the second tight end.
# 8 DB Joenel Aguero – Aguero played on Georgia’s special teams unit but did not record a stat.
# 33 LB CJ Allen – It’s the first time this season that Allen hasn’t played on defense. Instead, his role was special teams only. He did not record a stat in doing so.
# 35 LB Damon Wilson – Wilson was on the field earlier and more often it felt like. In fact, he was one of 20 Georgia defenders to get in the game. He did not record a stat.
# 44 DL Jordan Hall – Hall was in the game for the Bulldogs on the defensive line as an interior pass rusher. He did not record a stat.
