One of the crown jewels of Georgia’s 2026 class is officially in the fold. The Bulldogs announced the signing of four-star offensive lineman Ekene Ogboko (South Garner; Garner, N.C.) on Wednesday well before 8 a.m. ET.

At 6-foot-6, 310 pounds, Ogboko is ranked as the nation’s No. 36 overall prospect and No. 6 offensive tackle per the Rivals Industry Rankings, a weighted average of all three websites that publish recruiting rankings. He’s the No. 4 player in North Carolina.

The Rivals300, our stand-alone rankings, thing even more highly of Ogboko. There he is rated as a five-star prospect and ranked No. 14 in the country. He’s also the No. 4 offensive tackle and the No. 2 player in North Carolina.

“Mauling offensive tackle who plays with a physical edge and shows encouraging movement skills. Measured at 6-foot-6, 310 pounds with arms over 34 inches and big hands before his senior season. Added considerable mass over the final two years of high school. Lines up at left tackle and defensive line on Friday nights. Ogboko shows signs of dominance as a run blocker. Locks on to defensive linemen and works to finish with authority. An emphatic block finisher. Increased play strength and overall confidence over his final two seasons of high school football, developing into a bully on contact. Effective working to the second level. Solid movement skills and agility on offense. Also flashes the athleticism on defense, showing impressive closing speed. Solid in pass protection, but will benefit from more reps in passing situations at the college level. Has an upward trajectory as a prospect, given his steady improvement. Could end up being one of the top offensive tackles in the cycle.”

His brother, Nnamdi, is a redshirt freshman defensive tackle at Georgia. He signed with the Bulldogs in the 2024 class and is a rotational player for the Bulldogs. Watching his brother at UGA over the past two years gave him a front-row seat to how he would be coached and develop at the next level.

“Georgia can help me in my development and going there, I will be part of something great,” Ogboko said. “I will go against top defensive linemen every day in practice and get better. Georgia prepares guys for the NFL and that is where I want to go.”
