Georgia continues to move back up toward the top of the Associated Press Polls after a thrilling win over Ole Miss in Athens on Saturday.

Georgia is the No. 5 team in the latest AP Poll released on Sunday. The Bulldogs were the No. 9 team in the poll last week. Losses from Texas Tech, Miami and Ole Miss have jumbled the rankings even more after this week’s games.

Ohio State remains the No. 1 team after its 34-0 win over Wisconsin.

Georgia once again rallied from behind to earn the win on Saturday. Head coach Kirby Smart proclaimed Saturday’s win a ‘culture win’.

He highlighted the Bulldogs’ refusal to quit.

“Another day in the SEC,” Smart told reporters following Saturday’s game. “One-possession games have become the norm. I don’t know that I’ve ever been a part of anything like that. A lot of credit goes to Lane and his staff. Their team was really prepared to come into this game and start fast, as they did. A lot of credit goes to our offensive staff and the preparation they put in to not stop. I just told the guys, that’s a culture win. You don’t win that game if you’re not physically tough, mentally tough. We call it hard to kill. The one thing we are, we’re hard to kill. We won’t go away.”

Georgia will take a week off this week. They will be back to face Florida in Jacksonville on Nov. 1.
