Georgia will have a rare Bulldogs vs Bulldogs match-up on Saturday in Starkville. Georgia will travel to face Mississippi State at noon.

The weekly game trailer plays on this rare mascot match ahead of Saturday’s game. Former Georgia star Justin Houston was the voice narrating the trailer.

“It’s a Dawg eat Dawg world out there, only the strong survive,” Houston said. “To make it out alive, you’ve got to be takers, fueled by that fire and all week, we’ve been starving.”

Georgia is prepping for an enthusiastic team and a loud venue

Mississippi State earned the program’s first SEC win in two years last week with a 38-35 win over Arkansas. The Jeff Lebby-led Bulldogs have been in almost every game they’ve played in SEC play.

Kirby Smart has a lot of respect for what Lebby has done in Starkville in upgrading the talent level.

“Another week in the SEC, as we all know,” Smart told reporters on Monday. “Really good opponent in Mississippi State. Jeff, I know well, and good guy and done a great job with their program. The energy, enthusiasm coming out of that program, you can see it in the way their kids play. They’ve got no quit in them. These guys have competed.”

“They’ve been in every game they’ve played,” Smart continued. “They have upgraded the talent level since he’s been there. You look at the group he’s put together defensively, offensively and special teams. They’ve got really good players all over the field. Our guys are going to be up for a great challenge this week. We’re going to their place, and when you go on the road in the SEC, trust me, I’ve played a lot of years and coached a lot of games at this place. It’s a tough place to play. They have a great fan base, and Jeff and his staff and done an incredible job. So we’re looking to start getting ready for these guys.”
