Georgia secures 14 spots on coaches preseason All-SEC teams

The 2025 preseason coaches All-Southeastern Conference teams are out and Georgia is well represented. The Bulldogs have 14 spots on the three teams, highlighted nine players on the first teams and junior wideout Zachariah Branch making it three times.
No Georgia players made the first-team offense but four are included on the first-team defense and five more for special teams with Peyton Woodring making it twice. He’s the first-team kickoff specialist and place-kicker.
Long-snapper Beau Gardner and punter Brett Thorson made it along with Branch as the all-purpose selection. Georgia had at least one defender make it at all three levels of the defense and two in the defensive backfield. Fourth-year junior defensive tackle Christen Miller is included. He’s also a preseason second-team All-American and was voted first-team preseason All-SEC by league media.
Junior linebacker CJ Allen, Georgia’s second-leading tackler from a season ago, also made the first team. He’s joined by sophomore safety KJ Bolden and senior cornerback Daylen Everette. All three of those players were voted preseason All-SEC by the league media as well.

Branch made the second team as a return specialist. He’s joined by senior tight end Oscar Delp. Delp hauled in 21 passes for 248 yards and four scores a season ago. All four of those scores came in Georgia’s final five games of the 2025 season.
Two more Georgia offensive players made the third team. The team’s leading rusher from 2024, Nate Frazier, made it. He piled up 671 yards and eight touchdowns on 133 carries in his first season at Georgia. Branch, who transferred in from Southern Cal at the start of 2025, is also listed on the first-team offense. He’s coming off a season where he caught 47 passes for 503 yards and a touchdown.
Georgia is 11 days from the start of its 2025 season. It will start the campaign with a 3:30 p.m. kickoff (ESPN) inside Sanford Stadium against Marshall.
