Georgia is No. 7 overall seed for NCAA Tournament

Georgia’s competition along their road to Omaha has a number and faces now. The NCAA selected Georgia as the number seven overall seed for the NCAA Tournament on Monday.
Georgia is a host team for one of the 16 regionals. The NCAA released those sites on Sunday evening. The Bulldogs now know that, should they advance past the first round of regionals, which begin this weekend, they will play host to a super regional next week as a top-eight national seed.
Georgia will host in the regional beginning on Friday. The Bulldogs will face Binghamton. Duke and Oklahoma State will face off on Friday as well, with the winner facing the winner of game one and the loser facing the loser of game one.
The Bulldogs finished the 2025 regular season 42-15 overall and 18-12 in SEC play. Georgia was knocked out of the SEC tournament in the second round by Oklahoma on Thursday.
