Georgia signs standout Buford offensive lineman Graham Houston

KJ Bolden helped Georgia to switch up the narrative on the so-called ‘Buford Curse’, and the Dawgs were able to keep that momentum rolling with one of the state’s top programs in 2026, as well, announcing the signing of offensive lineman Graham Houston on Wednesday.

A 6-foot-4, 305 pound interior lineman, Houston ranks as a four-star prospect and the No. 293 overall prospect in the country for the Class of 2026 per the Rivals Industry Ranking. Houston is also the nation’s No. 23 interior offensive lineman and No. 40 prospect in the Peach State according to the same metric.

While Ole Miss, Florida, and Florida State were among those in the running, Houston decided he didn’t have to go very far from home to find everything he was looking for at the next level.

“I just felt like it was the right time because I had official visits coming up,” Houston told DawgsHQ’s Jeremy Johnson of making the decision. “When you like a school better than the others, it feels like you’re just like using your time, you know what I mean? It’s like, it’s my last summer as a senior, and I would rather spend that at Buford and knowing where I want to go, and so that was really my decision…“It’s always stood out, but going to the spring ball, I just felt like I had to get it done. I feel like it’s definitely stood out for a while. There wasn’t really an exact moment, but it’s always been a great school and I’ve looked at it highly. It’s always been probably a top mark for me.”

What will be interesting for Graham Houston at the next level is where he ends up being used, as he’s considered a possibility at any of the five line spots. Most, however, do believe he’ll likely end up on the interior of the Georgia line in the end and could be a very effective piece for years to come.
