Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate will take on a new title this year. AMB Sports and Entertainment announced Wednesday that it is launching the Invesco QQQ Atlanta Gridiron Classic. It’s a new College Football series that is aimed at hosting traditional rivalries between powerhouse programs. Georgia and Georgia Teck will kick it off in 2025.

The annual game will be played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Peach State’s capital city, Atlanta. That also happens to be the operations hub of Invesco QQQ. The Bulldogs will appear in the second game of the series as well when they take on Florida inside MBS in 2026.

“Atlanta and Mercedes-Benz Stadium have long been recognized as a premier destination for college football, and the Invesco QQQ Atlanta Gridiron Classic is the latest opportunity for us to continue to build on our legacy of hosting world-class events” Vice President of Stadium Events and Premium Sales for AMB Sports and Entertainment, Doug Roberts, said in a statement.

The 2025 game between Georgia and Georgia Tech will mark the first time that the storied rivalry has been played on neutral turf. It was supposed to be a home game for the Yellow Jackets this season, a site where Georgia has won every game since 1999.

The public has known for months that the game would be played on Friday, November 28 inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The game did not, however, have a title or a sponsor until now.

“Tickets for the inaugural Invesco QQQ Atlanta Gridiron Classic are currently being offered exclusively to Georgia Tech football season ticket holders and will soon be sent out to Atlanta Falcons PSL holders and UGA football season ticket members as a part of their road game allotment,” the statement reads.

The annual clash between Georgia and Florida, however, arrives here under different circumstances. The two teams normally square off in Jacksonville in The World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party. That rivalry is moving away for two years while Everbank Stadium undergoes necessary renovations.

Georgia and Florida will play in the Invesco QQQ Atlanta Gridiron Classic in 2026 but the game will move back to the Sunshine State in 2027. That’s when The Bulldogs and Gators will square off at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fla.
