Georgia center Drew Bobo feels as good as he has in a few weeks physically. Georgia got the week off last week.

The Bulldogs got back on the field on Monday for game preparation for Florida on Saturday in Jacksonville. Georgia’s offensive line has been a position of attrition this season.

Earnest Greene, Juan Gaston and Monroe Freeling have been forced from the lineup at some point this season.

Michah Morris and Dontrell Glover have suffered bumps and bruises they’ve fought through. The group got some time to heal over the weekend.

“Just doing it every week, you get a little banged up, you get nicks and bruises everywhere,” Bobo told reporters on Monday. “But having an off week, practicing a couple times, still getting after it, but just taking care of your body, having extra time over the weekend to take care of your body, just meant a lot. And I think, I know I’m feeling a little better, I think everyone else is too.”

Georgia has created depth

The Bulldogs have found a silver lining in having to play multiple players due to injuries. They now have depth. Georgia is taking advantage of that depth and some continuity has come in over the bye week.

Georgia’s last game, a 43-35 win over Ole Miss, was the first time the Bulldogs had started the same offensive line combination they had in week one.

There is comfort in every that contributes now.

“Ole Miss, I think it’s the first time we’ve had the same starting offensive line,” Bobo said. “And it’s just been moving parts the whole other part of the year. But it’s also good to have moving parts because we’ve created a lot of depth through doing that and people that we can rotate in the game and keep the offensive line fresh, and that’s been really good for us. And just having a bye week to get even healthier, kind of not as banged up as anymore. It’s just good to be able to go out there this week and just have a full offensive line and a lot of depth.”
