Injury will cause Georgia LB Jalon Walker to miss pro day

Georgia linebacker Jalon Walker will have to wait a few more weeks to show off his athleticism for NFL scouts. Walker did not take part in the on-field portions of the NFL Combine last week in Indianapolis and had planned to work out at Georgia’s pro-day but that has now changed.
ESPN has reported that Walker will not participate in Georgia’s pro day scheduled for March 12 in Athens. Walker reportedly has a strained quad that he suffered during training according to ESPN.
Walker will work out for NFL teams on April 17. The former four-star recruit has played several roles for Georgia in the last three seasons.
His best season was 2024 where he earned the Butkus Award, the award given to the nation’s best linebacker. Walker put up 60 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss and six and a half sacks.
