Look: Brock Bowers finishes the drill at Georgia with graduation

Brock Bowers will forever be known as one of greatest Georgia players to don the red and black. Now he’ll be eligible to enter the program’s Circle of Honor after graduating from UGA.
“Mission Accomplished BB,” Georgia tight ends coach Todd Hartley said via Twitter. “Your legacy as one of the GREATEST to ever wear the Red & Black has been cemented FOREVER. Proud to have been a small part of your journey kid!!”
The two-time National Champion wrapped up his Georgia journey on Friday, earning a bachelors degree in Real Estate from the Terry College of Business. According to U.S. News and World Report, Terry College is ranked among the nation’s best business schools at public universities. The publication lists it at No. 13.
Bowers was Georgia’s best offensive player for each of his three years on campus. He was the team’s leading receiver in all three seasons, even as a freshman in 2021. Bowers caught 56 passes for 882 yards and 13 touchdowns in his first season at Georgia while also running the football four times for 56 yards and a score.
His 13th receiving touchdown of that season came in the fourth quarter of the National Championship game against Alabama to extend the Bulldogs’ lead. His second season at Georgia was even more impressive.

Bowers hauled in 63 passes for 942 yards and seven touchdowns that season while running the football nine times for 109 yards and three touchdowns. He became first tight end in school history to go for over 1,000 yards from scrimmage.
A high-ankle sprain slowed Bowers in the 2023 season and likely kept Georgia from making the playoff and fighting for a third National Championship in as many seasons. Still Bowers found a way to make his mark. After suffering the injury against Vanderbilt, Bowers had tight-rope surgery and returned to the field less than four weeks post-operation. He was back for the Bulldogs beatdown of Ole Miss inside Sanford Stadium, catching three passes for 34 yards and a score.
When the dust settled on his third and final season at Georgia, Bowers had 56 catches for 714 yards and six scores. His career numbers at Georgia are astounding for a tight end. He caught 175 passes in 40 career games, gaining 2,538 yards and 26 receiving touchdowns. He added 193 rushing yards and five touchdowns on just 19 carries.
