Rowe: Why I joined DawgsHQ, On3

It’s tough to put into words how excited I am to be joining the DawgsHQ team and the On3 Network. Finding the perfect fit isn’t easy but after stepping away from this industry seven months ago and having time to think about my next steps, I believe that this is it.
As hard as it is for me to wrap my head around, I was blessed with the opportunity to cover the University of Georgia approximately 10 years ago. Those are some of the fastest and best years of my life. Just getting the call from Shannon Terry lit a fire under me that I’m determined to bring to this company.
There are two things that I’m committed to as I step into a new phase of my sportswriting career. I’m going to work tirelessly and have a lot of fun in the process. Whether it’s message board interaction, reporting, sharing my opinion or analyzing UGA athletics, I want to let it all hang out and I’m going to have a blast in the process.

We are going to build something special at DawgsHQ. Palmer, Jake, and Wes have gotten things off to an incredible start. Together we want to provide unique insight into the goings on at UGA while accurately reporting the news and sharing a piece of ourselves in the process.
The UGA market is competitive. There are some great people and reporters who cover this team but in due time, I’m confident that we will be the go-to place for the Bulldog Faithful no matter the type of coverage being sought.
