This week started with a very loud, very celebration-worthy bang — if you’re a Georgia fan. The Bulldogs added five-star quarterback Jared Curtis, the nation’s top signal caller, on Monday. He told On3 soon after making that commitment that he would be visiting Athens this weekend and that he’s putting on his recruiting hat.

Well, he’ll have someone to recruit in the Classic City as the nation’s No. 1 overall prospect, Nixa (Nixa, Mo.) offensive tackle Jackson Cantwell will also be in town. The presence of that elite duo on the UGA campus is just one of a few topics on the latest edition of The Georgia Show.

Jake Reuse and I team up to discuss Curtis and Cantwell being in Athens this weekend. The most intriguing part of it is that it is highly unlikely that they’ll be the only two. Who else shows up? Could they get swept up in the five-star vibes? Georgia certainly hopes so as it takes aim at another elite recruiting class.

Reuse also goes over why he put in a Recruiting Prediction Machine pick for Georgia to land elite tight end Mark Bowman. It sounds like the Bulldogs have some momentum and we take a look at his film, which is more impressive than either of us remember.

Lastly, we start talking about what the summer could look like for the Bulldogs. Reuse digs into several different position groups to get an idea of what can be expected. We discuss specific prospects but we also take a look at several different positions that Georgia will be targeting. There’s also the month of June where players will camp in front of the staff and earn offers.
