The Georgia Show: Commits shut it down | Schedule times

Georgia commits shut it down
There’s clearly something in the water in the early part of June, as several Georgia commits came out definitively this week to lock in their pledges and cancel trips and communication elsewhere. Seven Cloud, Brady Marchese, Jordan Smith, and Justice Fitzpatrick all reaffirmed their word to the Bulldogs, and that’s big news for several reasons. We break down each angle, plus, why the timing may have been right for the Bulldogs to get some of their biggest names to shut it down during official visit season. It may not just be all NIL driven…
Georgia adds three new commits in the Class of 2026
Aside from locking up some key players, the Bulldogs also managed to deepen their Class of 2026 in a big way, with three new pledges in the fold. Offensive linemen Zachary Lewis and Zykie Helton gave their verbal commitments to the Bulldogs, giving Stacy Searels another couple of in-state standouts for his stable. While neither may blow folks away from a ranking perspective, there’s plenty to like about the games of each, and we dive in on what they bring to the table, aside from some more Georgia love. Also, punter Wade Register, the nation’s top prospect at the position, announced his pledge to the Bulldogs, and if you know anything about DawgsHQ, you know we love a specialist around here.

Schedule times released
We now know when the Bulldogs will get their chance at several top opponents, but what do we make of those matchups and how they favor Georgia? That, plus the Dawgs get Alabama in Sanford for only the fifth time in 30 years. Can the Dawgs make the most of this one?
Another big weekend ahead
Jared Curtis heads up a loaded visitor list for the Bulldogs this weekend, and he won’t be short of company. We’re examining the key names to watch this weekend, including on the offensive and defensive fronts.
