What’s the Georgia injury situation ahead of Auburn?

The injury report dropped on Wednesday night, and while the scratches were not surprising, Monroe Freeling and Earnest Greene both popped up as questionable, leaving us to wonder just how far along and available they may be this weekend. Having the starting left tackle ready to work would be a major boost for the Dawgs and could be a big swing in terms of the line of the game; meanwhile, will Greene step back into his role if ready or will he act as a sixth man on the offensive line for Georgia? It’s a formidable front seven the Dawgs have on tap, so having all the necessary bodies ready would go a long way to success against the Tigers. We’re intrigued to see how this one shakes out.

What’s the best matchup for the Bulldogs this weekend?

The irresistible force meets the immovable object in Jordan-Hare this weekend, and we’re not talking Andre and Hulk. This game may well boil down to if Georgia’s missing pass rush emerges against an Auburn team that’s had much trouble keeping its quarterback upright. Can the Bulldogs take advantage of those issues on the Plains this weekend, or will they continue to struggle when it comes to disrupting opposing passers in the backfield? Additionally, Jake Rowe sees some promise in how the Dawgs matchup in run defense this weekend. Controlling what the Tigers do on the ground should be a big boost for Georgia.

What’s the toughest matchup for Georgia?

We’re looking at a talented receiver corps as a potential headache for the Bulldogs this weekend, as the likes of Cam Coleman and Eric Singleton have all the tools to make them successful, and the Georgia secondary has left much to be desired at times throughout conference play. Can the Dawgs right the ship in that regard? That may tell the tale of this game.
