What’s the injury situation for Georgia – Florida?

The injury report for the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party dropped on Thursday evening, and there were no major surprises for the Bulldogs on this one. In fact, it may well be said that Georgia is the healthiest it’s been all season going into this matchup, particularly upfront, with not a single offensive lineman appearing on the list. That’s a first this year. Additionally, the likes of Malachi Toliver, Thomas Blackshear, and Chase Linton were all removed for the first time this year. On the flip side, the Gators are quite banged up going into this one, missing their top receiver and a former Georgia commit at the running back spot, among a host of others. The Dawgs clearly enter this contest with the edge in the health department, which should be a major boost to their chances on Saturday.

How does this matchup look for Georgia?

The Florida wide receiver corps is talented, and DJ Lagway has a ton of talent, though he’s been inconsistent to this point in the season. Georgia has struggled with containing the passing game to this point in the season, so that may be a bit of cause for concern, but outside of that, the Dawgs look to hold an edge at several other spots, including stability in the ranks given the turnover in Gainesville. It will be an interesting test with the Gators sure to come out with something to prove and looking to put some tape down as they look for their next homes.
