The Georgia Show: One week into spring + Hoop Dawgs dancing

Georgia hoops makes the Dance
We had to kick off the show with the breaking news that Georgia hoops has its first berth in the NCAA tournament in a decade. While the Dawgs didn’t get the perfect draw, it’s still a major step forward for the program as a whole and for Mike White’s tenure in Athens. We know Jake Rowe is as excited as anyone who’s been following the team the season and is hoping for a deep run from the Hoop Dawgs.
Week one of spring practice is behind us
It’s hard to believe, but the Dawgs are now a full week in on spring practice, and there are some early returns on some of the newcomers that have our ears perked up. The Bo Walker hype train has plenty of room still on it, and Rusty Mansell breaks down why you should consider jumping aboard now. Todd Robinson is another name that’s earning some early buzz, and the former quarterback turned safety looks to be making the most of his full time transition to defense. That, plus much more from the practice fields at the Butts-Mehre complex.

A new Georgia commit for the Class of 2026
Georgia is putting in work on the field, but that isn’t slowing the work on the recruiting trail. Saturday, the Dawgs added the services of wideout Brady Marchese of Cartersville for the Class of 2026, and Rusty Mansell breaks down the pickup and what had the Dawgs so high on his talents even this early on in the cycle. Can this shape up to be another strong class for James Coley? It’s looking like it at this point…
Jared Curtis watch continues
The former Georgia commit and five-star quarterback was back in Athens for a very important trip just last week, so we’re breaking down the latest on what you should be watching for when it comes to the Curtis recruitment. How are we feeling on how the Dawgs sit coming out of this one and moving ahead? It’s all in this one.
