So, what went wrong for Georgia?
There was much to say about the Bulldogs and the performance on Saturday, and we didn’t hold back on what those things were. What about that fourth down call to Cash Jones? What about Ellis Robinson’s performance? Those third downs were certainly a problem for Georgia, but where does that blame fall? We step forward to answer those questions and who should be held accountable. The truth is that there are many folks who could shoulder the burden for what happened against Alabama, and we aren’t afraid to name some names as to who. We dive in on it all.
What went right for Georgia?
Aside from problems, there were some positives to garner from how Georgia played on Saturday. The offensive line took a step forward, which Jake Rowe expounds upon. Colbie Young, Josh McCray, and Chauncey Bowens did some impressive things along the way, which could help to set the tone for the Dawgs as they move further into this schedule. Demello Jones also had a bit of a coming out party in this one. While there’s plenty to criticize, there’s also some aspects that Georgia can build off of in this one.
Recruiting takes a step forward
There was some strong news for the Bulldogs on Saturday on the 2027 front, with the commitment of offensive linemen Kyson Mallard and Kelsey Adams. Adams is one of the nation’s elite offensive tackle prospects, while Mallard is a massive man in his own right and likely projects to the guard spot at the next level.
