Georgia Bye Week Priorities

How should the Bulldogs have spent this off week? First and foremost, Georgia has to continue to get healthy, with the likes of Gunner Stockton and Chauncey Bowens chief among those who could use some time to get their health right. While both were able to go against the Rebels, a week of should be of benefit for the duo, particularly Bowens who saw him smallest snap share comparative to Nate Frazier in some weeks. Additionally, having Monroe Freeling, Juan Gaston, and Earnest Greene at their peak and all together could give Stacy Searels’ unit some much needed depth in the coming weeks. Making sure everyone is good to go for the stretch could be of major benefit and their longevity for the road ahead, as an almost new season begins now.

Recruiting rolls on…

Georgia coaches are on the the road this weekend, including a crucial stop for offensive coordinator Mike Bobo in Nashville with five-star quarterback Jared Curtis. With the Vanderbilt Commodores trying to make things interesting, Bobo’s presence in Nashville comes at a good time, as he works to ensure that the Dawgs end up with the nation’s top ranked signal caller in the class. Elsewhere, making sure that secondary coaches are en route to see Justice Fitzpatrick and keep the ranks well stocked at cornerback is among the biggest moves they can make, as the elite defender feels like a must get. The Miami Hurricanes are working to make it interesting, but Georgia is having none of that.
