Tracking movement for Georgia players in the NFL on cut down day

It’s cut down day in the NFL, and a couple of former Georgia players have had notable decisions made regarding their futures. Quarterback Jake Fromm (2017-19) was cut by the Washington Commanders as they get down to their 53 man roster while wide receiver Kearis Jackson (2018-22) did make the Tennessee Titans’ squad.

In total, 50 former Georgia players are on NFL rosters to begin the season. A full list can be found below, sorted by division.

Of course, any of the players that missed the cut could be picked up by their original team on the practice squad if they clear waivers. Per the NFL’s operations website, the wavier period lasts 24 hours. The NFL regular season begins nest Thursday when the Chiefs take on the Lions on NBC.
