Trevor Etienne update: Georgia RB available for SEC Championship vs. Texas

ATLANTA, Ga. — Georgia will have the services of junior tailback Trevor Etienne (ribs) when it takes on No. 2 Texas in the SEC Championship game per the league’s official availability report. Etienne, after being listed as questionable all week, is no longer on the report.
Neither is freshman tailback Chauncey Bowens, who missed the Georgia Tech game with a foot injury. Redshirt sophomore running back Branson Robinson and redshirt sophomore defensive tackle Christian Miller are both listed as game-time decisions. The only Bulldog out for the contest is freshman defensive end Joseph Jonah-Ajonye, who was ruled out for the season well over a month ago.
Etienne was Georgia’s leading rusher before suffering a rib injury against Florida. The missed the entire second half of that game and was significantly limited the next week in Georgia’s loss to Ole Miss. The Bulldogs returned to take on Tennessee the next week and the SEC’s second availability report of that week had him listed as out. He missed the next three games.

Miller last played against UMass where he suffered a shoulder injury that forced him to miss the final three quarters. He did not dress out the following week against Georgia Tech and the early buzz suggested he might miss the rest of the season.
Robinson has been out since Georgia beat Mississippi State in early October, the week before it took on Texas the first time. He suffered a sprained MCL and has been back practicing for the past couple of weeks.
