North Gwinnett offensive lineman Zachary Lewis was offered by the Georgia Bulldogs on May 15. Now, less than a month later, the big man from Suwanee, Georgia has opted to make the most of that opportunity, committing to Stacy Searels and company on Monday.

Lewis took his official visit to Athens this past weekend.

A 6-foot-4, 286 pound lineman, Lewis becomes Georgia’s second offensive line commit of the Class of 2026, joining four-star Buford product Graham Houston, who pledged his services to the Bulldogs in early May.

Currently ranked as the nation’s No. 969 overall prospect in the 2026 On3 Industry Ranking, Lewis also ranks as the nation’s No. 93 overall interior lineman and the No. 102 prospect in the Peach State per the same metric.

On film, Lewis showcases light feet for his size, a relentless effort in finishing through the whistle, and the toughness that Searels has come to covet in his time at the helm of the Bulldogs’ offensive line.

Lewis likely projects to the interior of the line at the next level and may well find himself in conversation at the center position when he makes his way to campus in Athens.

He joins the Bulldogs’ 2026 class which is currently ranked fifth in the nation per the On3 Industry Ranking and is helmed by the nation’s No. 1 quarterback, Jared Curtis, who will take his official visit to the Classic City this weekend.

Georgia will now turn its attention to true tackle prospects, such as Malakai Lee, Ekene Ogboko, and Fletcher Turk, to continue to build the offensive front. Additional interior help may come in the form of Breck Kolojay, Desmond Green, or Zykie Helton. Ogboko just wrapped his official visit this past weekend, while Lee is expected to return for an unofficial visit this weekend after taking his official during the G-Day Spring Game.
