WATCH: What Georgia can do for you, the ultimate recruiting pitch

Look across college football and no team has done a better job of putting players in the NFL over the past five-plus years than Georgia. Starting with the 2021 NFL Draft, the Bulldogs have had 55 players selected. That’s an average of 11 players per year.
The latest draft only boosted those numbers. Georgia had three players taken in the first round and 13 players taken in all seven rounds combined. It ranked No. 2 in the nation behind Ohio State, the 2024 National Champions.
With all of that in mind, Georgia has put out a video entitled “What Georgia can do for you: The Path to the Draft.” The nine-minute and nine-second feature follows the paths of each of UGA’s first-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft — Mykel Williams, Jalon Walker, and Malaki Starks.
Williams was the first Bulldog off the board in the latest draft. He was taken No. 11 overall by San Francisco. Walker came off the board a few picks later when Atlanta took him with the No. 15 overall pick. Starks’ name was called toward the end of round one to a place many people projected him — Baltimore at No. 27.

All three of their backgrounds are covered with people from their support system having a chance to share. Defensive coordinator and inside linebackers coach Glenn Schumann gets a ton of screen time. He had a chance to speak about all three players considering he coordinated them all for three years. Williams, Starks, and Walker all signed with Georgia in the same class, 2022.
Each of them played significant roles on the Bulldogs’ 15-0 National Championship team that season. Williams started a few games and led the team in sacks. Starks started 14 of 15 games, all but the season opener and had two interceptions. Walker was more of a role player but saw plenty of action later in the season when Nolan Smith went down with a torn pectoral muscle. Georgia was ultra thin at outside linebacker and Walker stepped up.
