Addie Deal excited for upcoming season
The excitement and expectation levels for Addie Deal among Iowa fans is extremely high. The true freshman combo guard from California committed to the Hawkeyes when she was a junior and stuck with Iowa even after former head coach Lisa Bluder announced her retirement.
Now he has finally arrived and she is loving everything about being a part of the Iowa women’s basketball program. As a combo guard, Deal would see time at any of three positions, including some time at the point guard position. She talks about potentially playing the point guard spot and how she played it at the high school level.
