Ben McCollum talks Iowa basketball and Big Ten Media Day
There were three former Drake head coaches meeting the media in Chicago representing Big Ten schools. One of them is new Iowa head coach Ben McCollum and he spoke in the late morning about his team in a wide ranging conversation.
McCollum spoke to the media about his plans for the two secret scrimmages that he will be leading this month and what he hopes to get out of them, along with if he has settled on a starting lineup for the Hawkeyes to start the season. He also talks about the improvement he has seen from several of his holdover and new players, who he will be counting on to making an impact this year.
