Ben McCollum talks Xavier and recruiting
Wednesday was signing day in college basketball. That means that Ben McCollum will be adding to his roster for next season. But, when he met with the media on signing day, he had not yet received the financial aid agreement, so he could not talk about his 2026 signee, Ethan Harris. What McCollum could do is discuss what he hopes his roster ends up looking like from a mix of high school and transfers while he leads the Iowa program.
Also, Iowa basketball faces a school that also had an extreme makeover to their roster in Xavier, who has a new coach that will be familiar to Hawkeye fans, Richard Pitino. McCollum discusses what he has seen from them this year.
