Stirtz and Manyawu speak at Big Ten Media Day
One year ago Bennett Stirtz was a second team all conference guard from a D2 school making the leap to the D1 level. Cam Manyawu was looking for another opportunity at the D1 level and found a home at Drake.
One year later, Stirtz and Manyawu are representing the University of Iowa at Big Ten Media Days in Chicago. You could say it’s been a pretty eventful journey for both of them in the last year plus of their lives.
The duo met with the media in Chicago on Thursday to discuss their move to Iowa and how despite the move to becoming a Big Ten head coach how Ben McCollum has not changed one bit from the guy that they first met. The improvement that they have seen from their teammates, both old and new, and how much stronger they have gotten since arriving at Iowa.
