News and Notes from Big Ten Media Days - Day One
The Big Ten Conference is holding their annual media days this year in Las Vegas. With conference expansion it has turned into a three day event. The Hawkeyes will be up on the third day, so today the conference opened up with Big Ten Commissioner Tony Petitti talking a lot about the success of the conference overall and the his views on the potential expansion of the college football playoff and how it differs from that of the Southeastern Conference.
We also heard from six Big Ten head coaches today, including former Hawkeye Bret Bielema, Ryan Day, and Matt Rhule. We have notes from the coaches comments from the stage and more.
