Cooper Koch reacts to being a starter for Iowa
While basically all of his teammates left once the coaching change was made, Cooper Koch decided to stay at Iowa. He credited Ben McCollum and his offense for the reason that persuaded him to stay in Iowa City and thus far that has proven to be a good decision.
Koch spoke to the media at the Wednesday press conference about the fact that the entire team changed around him in the off-season, but he’s happy that he stayed at Iowa. He also spoke about starting the first two games of the season and what it has meant to him as a kid who grew up following and root for the Hawkeyes.
