Ethan Hurkett celebrates birthday with blocked field goal
In all likelihood Ethan Hurkett didn’t have much of a formal celebration of his birthday on Friday. The Iowa defensive end had plenty to celebrate late in the evening following Iowa’s strong performance in the second half, which included Hurkett blocking a field goal that eventually set up one of their own for the Iowa offense.
Hurkett discusses his blocked field goal and what went into the play. He also talks about the overall adjustments being made by the Iowa defense, led by Phil Parker in the second half of the game.
