Former Iowa RHP Adam Mazur recalled by the Miami Marlins

Welcome (back) to the show Adam Mazur. Per Christina De Nicola of MLB.com, the former Hawkeye right-hander has been recalled from Triple-A Jacksonville and will join the Miami Marlins. It is likely that Adam will get the start on the mound on Wednesday against the Philadelphia Phillies.
“Very cool. Just excited for this opportunity,” Mazur told reporters. “I’m open to whatever. Not sure what to expect, but I’m just excited to be here.”
“Just going to go out there and compete and give these guys a chance to win. That’s the name of the game up here. Go out there, compete and give them a chance to win every single time you take the mound.”
Mazur made his MLB Debut last season with the San Diego Padres, making eight starts, posting a 7.49 ERA over 33.2 innings, including 22 strikeouts. In his first ever start against the Los Angeles Angels, Adam allowed one run on two hits over 6.0 innings.
