T.J. Hall playing with confidence

There were plenty of question marks heading into the 2025 Iowa football season regarding who would emerge at the cornerback position. Two games into the season it’s clear that T.J. Hall has secured his spot in the starting lineup. Hall has been credited with 8 tackles and he also had three passes broken up against Iowa State this past Saturday.
It hasn’t always been a smooth ride for Hall, who is originally from California and had a father who played for former Iowa assistant Don Patterson. He had struggles early and felt that disappointment and sought help from Kirk Ferentz and Phil Parker. He also talks about how he has improved this year and how you can’t reach to create turnovers.
