How to Watch: Iowa Women's Basketball at Iowa State

It’s one of the most highly-anticipated games of the women’s basketball season in Iowa. The Cy-Hawk Series matchup between the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Iowa State Cyclones. The Hawkeyes are looking to sweep the three in-state rivals (ISU, Drake and UNI) for the second straight season and for the third time in four seasons. This will be the 54th meeting between the two programs, with Iowa leading the all-time series 30-23. Lisa Bluder has coached the Hawkeyes to a win in six of the last seven matchups against ISU, but is just 2-11 in her last 13 trips to Hilton Coliseum.
Lisa Bluder and the Hawkeyes enter the Cy-Hawk matchup with an 8-1 record, including wins over #13 Kansas State, #15 Virginia Tech and Drake. Iowa sits at #4 in the AP Poll, with their lone loss coming at Carver-Hawkeye Arena to K-State on November 16th. They are currently on a five game winning streak and are sixth in the country in points per game (91.2). Last week, Caitlin Clark was named Big Ten Player of the Week, which is the 20th time she has earned a Big Ten weekly award during her career. Last time out, the Hawkeyes had five players score in double figures and they defeated Bowling Green 99-65.
