Reece Vander Zee gets touchdown reception

After missing the first part of the season due to a foot injury, Reece Vander Zee worked his way back and it’s certainly helped the Iowa passing game. It did for sure on Saturday when the sophomore wide receiver hauled in a 29 yard pass from Mark Gronowski for a touchdown. It was Iowa’s first touchdown pass in Big Ten play this season.
Vander Zee spoke to the media about his high school teammate, Zach Lutmer, also reaching the end zone today. He also spoke about the play itself and being able to beat his old teammate, John Nestor, on that single play.
