Hawkeyes celebrate record setting victory

It was a record setting night for Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz. He picked up his 206th win as a Big Ten head coach, which is the most all-time. It’s wild to think about the fact that none of the players on his team were even born when Ferentz started as the head coach in Iowa City.
That doesn’t mean he hasn’t have a massive impact on the lives of his players. We heard from Logan Jones, Xavier Nwankpa, and Aaron Graves spent their time after the game praising the impact that Ferentz had on their lives. Nwankpa also identified himself as a one of the three defensive backs that dumped a bucket of Powerade on their head coach.
