Iowa Football Player Presser News and Notes

The Iowa football players met with the media on Tuesday afternoon and it was a slim group that spoke to reporters. No quarterbacks were made available this week, which might be an indication of where things stand heading into the Wisconsin game on Saturday evening.
The Iowa players on offense were mum on comments about the quarterback position, but we did hear from Iowa freshman running back Nathan McNeil about the impact that new running backs coach Omar Young has had on him and the impact of getting back Xavier Williams this week.

We also spoke to a pair of Iowa defensive lineman about their routine for night football games and that it includes the watching a scary movie on Friday evening. They also talk about Wisconsin having put a special emphasis on this game this year after Iowa hung 42 points on them last year and their reaction to it. They also discuss the plan for the three different Wisconsin quarterbacks.
Finally, we visit with Koen Entringer, who is a captain for the Hawkeyes this season. Entringer talks about the influence that Jack Campbell had on him as a captain when he was a true freshman and what he learned from him during that time.
