Last week the Iowa men’s basketball program released their non-conference slate of games. On Thursday they gave us the entire schedule, including 20 Big Ten contests.

The Big Ten certainly didn’t give new head coach Ben McCollum and layup in his first Big Ten game, as Iowa will travel to Michigan State to face the Spartans on December 2nd. The next game will be at home as the Hawkeyes host Maryland.

Then Iowa will resume Big Ten play on January 3rd when UCLA comes to Iowa City. Iowa will have back to back road games twice. Once in January when they travel to Purdue and Indiana on the 14th and the 17th and Oregon and Washington on February 1st and 4th. The Hawkeyes will also host back to back home games twice. First with Rutgers on January 20th followed by USC on January 28th. There is a more traditional back to back when they host Purdue on Valentines Day, followed by Nebraska on February 17th.
