Kirk Ferentz talks ReliaQuest match-up with Vanderbilt

For the seventh time in his tenure, Kirk Ferentz will be leading the Iowa football team down to Tampa for a bowl game. The previous six times the bowl game sponsor was Outback Steakhouse. This time around there is a new sponsor in Reliaquest. While the sponsor might be different, the Iowa head coach is very excited to be leading his team for one more game this year.

Ferentz met with the media via Zoom on Sunday afternoon to discuss accepting the bowl game invite, the match-up with Vanderbilt, who has ten wins this year and a potential Heisman candidate at quarterback. He also talks about his roster sticking together for the bowl game and the state of college football with teams opting out of bowl games this year.
