Jacob Gill excited for the atmosphere at Memorial Stadium
Friday won’t be the first time that Jacob Gill steps on the field at Memorial Stadium. Last season was his first experience with the Iowa-Nebraska rivalry, which came at Kinnick, but Gill visited Lincoln as a freshman with Northwestern. There’s no doubt he will be looking to leave with a win, as his Wildcats team lost 56-7 in that matchup. Jacob met with the media on Tuesday discussing the challenge of facing the Nebraska secondary and the possibility of snow for the game. He also spoke about finishing up his career at Iowa and his respect for Kirk Ferentz.
