The Iowa Hawkeyes went into the locker room at halftime trailing 32-26. They were shooting under 40%, they had 12 turnovers and Caitlin Clark had just six points. For some, the halftime vibes would have been frantic trying to find ways to right the ship. Jan Jensen says that Coach Lisa Bluder just urged her team to calm down and reset going into the second half. The Hawkeyes came out and turned the game around en route to a win. Hannah Stuelke put up 23 points on 9/12 shooting to lead the way for Iowa.
Jensen spoke with the media after the game discussing what changed at halftime with the team, her thoughts on the performance of Hannah Stuelke against Aaliyah Edwards and how they final seconds of the game played out on the defensive end.
