Jon Budmayr has options at wide receiver

In recent years the Iowa wide receiver room sometimes has pretty limited options to catch the football. This year is not one of those seasons. Iowa wide receiver coach Jon Budmayr has a wide array of players who can more than fill out the role of passing catcher in the Iowa offense in 2025.

We spoke with the Iowa receivers coach at media day and he gave us his initial indication on who we might see with the first unit at Kids Day on Saturday. He also talked about KJ Parker and how he has developed and what he has seen from the entire unit so far in fall camp.
