Kirk Ferentz on the loss to Iowa State
The Iowa football team was hoping to be celebrating the 206th win of the tenure of Kirk Ferentz at Iowa. Instead they were stuck with their third loss in the last four games to in-state rival Iowa State. Ferentz was left to try and explain how the Hawkeyes have continued to struggle on offense and the overall play of his new starting quarterback.
Ferentz also updates the injury situation with his offensive line where two key pieces were sent to the sidelines late in the game. He also talks about how starting tight end Addison Ostrenga might be sidelined for an extended period of time. Plus he talks about the play of his defense and the struggle to get to the quarterback and not creating turnovers.
