Kirk Ferentz on the win over Rutgers

If you didn’t already know, the reputation the last few years for Iowa football has been to not score a lot of points. Then there was Friday night against Rutgers, when the two teams combined to score 28 points in the first quarter and 42 in the first half of the game.
Kirk Ferentz met with the media following Iowa’s rally in the fourth quarter to pull out a bit of a comfortable 38-28 victory over Rutgers. He talked about the defense picking up in the second half to limit Rutgers to just seven points. He also discusses the improving play of starting quarterback Mark Gronowski and he updates ankle injuries to Seth Anderson and Jaziun Patterson.
