Koen Entringer learning to be captain
Koen Entringer remembers the moment this summer when Kirk Ferentz shared with the team who would be one of the team captains. He remembers sharing that news with his girlfriend and then his parents. More importantly, Entringer remembers one of the players before him who was a team captain that set the example for him as a freshman.
That player was former Iowa linebacker Jack Campbell. Entringer talks about the example that Campbell set as a captain when he was a Hawkeye and how he is trying to emulate that on a daily basis in this role. He talks about some of the examples of Campbell as a captain and he also talks about what he has seen from the Wisconsin quarterbacks.
