Koen Entringer surprised and honored to represent Hawkeyes
Kirk Ferentz has decided to give up any portion of a say in who represents the Iowa football program at Iowa football media days. Instead he left it up to his leadership committee, made up of several players on the team. Those players selecting Logan Jones and Ethan Hurkett wasn’t a surprise. But it was a surprise to Koen Entringer that he was selected to represent the Hawkeyes in Las Vegas this week.
Entringer spoke at length about what an honor it was and how his teammates surprised him. He also talks about his parents being with him in Las Vegas and the he breaks down the entire defensive backfield and the young players who could be rising up. He also talks about the first time Phil Parker reached out to him.
