Ladji Dembele talks adjusting to the college game and being away from home
Ladji Dembele is originally from Mali in West Africa. He spent the last two years at St. Benedict’s Prep in Newark, New Jersey and back in November he committed to Iowa over Pittsburgh, Wake Forest and DePaul. Fast forward eight months and the three-star recruit is preparing for his true freshman season of college ball with the Hawkeyes.
Ladji met with the media on Thursday to discuss how his first practices with the Hawkeyes have gone, as well as who has helped him the most with his adjustment to the college game and what is he is working on to improve his game.
