"It's like a holiday", Logan Jones speaks on the Heroes Trophy rivalry
He says that it’s no longer a chip on his shoulder, but you can tell that there’s still some extra motivation for this matchup. A native of Council Bluffs, Logan Jones says that he always hoped to get an offer from Nebraska in high school, but they said he was too small to play there. Instead, Jones committed to Iowa and has the chance to finish his career with a 5-1 record against the Huskers.
Logan met with the media on Tuesday, discussing what the rivalry means to him, the close-knit group that is the offensive line room, getting to actually play at Memorial Stadium for the first time and more.
