While the first start wasn’t what Mark Gronowski had hoped, the transfer quarterback from South Dakota State is starting to show Iowa fans what he did at his previous stop. That includes both passing and running with a great deal of success. On Friday night, not only did he throw the ball pretty well, but he made plays with his legs, scoring a trio of touchdowns.
Gronowski spoke after the game about the progress he has been making the last couple of weeks, the impact that he can have by running the ball in the red zone, and if he and Tim Lester are finding their groove as coordinator and quarterback.
